2006 International Extradition &
Foreign Prosecution Conference
On August 10 & 11, 2006 the El Paso District Attorney’s Office
hosted the first annual International Extraditions and Article 4
prosecution Conference. Speakers from the Mexican Attorney
General’s Office, The Department of Justice, the Mexican
Federal Judiciary, among others, spoke on a variety of topics,
all aimed at educating prosecutors and law enforcement on
how to pursue fugitives that flee into Mexico. The Conference
was well attended by prosecutors and law enforcement officers
from throughout the country. Thanks to all who participated
and attended!
